Welcome to ChariAI.
ChariAI is an AI-powered virtual character chat platform. By creating an account or accessing any part of the platform, you enter into a binding agreement with us under the terms set out below. These terms apply to the ChariAI Android application (the "Platform"). The CharVibe website has separate terms, accounts, and subscription entitlements. Signing in with the same Google or email identity does not transfer your website chats, characters, or paid membership to Android.
If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Platform.
Throughout this document, "you" means the person accessing or using the Platform. "We," "us," and "our" refer to Innoglow, the operator of ChariAI. We may revise these terms from time to time. We will provide notice of material changes and obtain agreement where required by applicable law.
ChariAI lets you have text-based conversations with AI-generated fictional characters. Every character on the Platform is a product of machine learning — none are real people, and nothing they say represents the views or positions of ChariAI.
We continuously develop ChariAI. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. When changes are significant, we'll try to give you advance notice — but we can't always guarantee this, and we're not liable for any disruption that results from changes to the Platform.
Nothing generated by ChariAI's AI characters should be interpreted as medical, psychological, legal, financial, or any other kind of professional advice. AI responses can be wrong, incomplete, or inconsistent. Do not make important decisions based on what an AI character says. If you're in a crisis or need immediate help, contact emergency services (911) or reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.
The app supports AI video generation from prompts and optional reference images, and text-to-speech playback of AI replies. Voice playback does not record your microphone or provide live voice calls. Relevant text and images are processed by external services as described in our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Paid subscriptions and any premium features require you to be at least 18. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register — any account we identify as belonging to someone under 13 will be closed and its data deleted.
If you are between 13 and 17, a parent or legal guardian must review and consent to these terms on your behalf before you use the Platform. When a parent or guardian grants that consent, they take on full responsibility for your activity on ChariAI and agree that:
We may ask for proof of age or parental consent at any time, and we reserve the right to close accounts where we cannot confirm eligibility.
ChariAI is designed for users in the United States. By using the Platform, you confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. trade embargo, and that you do not appear on any U.S. government list of prohibited individuals or entities.
When you register, you agree to keep your account information accurate and up to date, and to keep your login credentials private. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account — so if you think someone else has accessed it, notify us right away at jack.hu@chatlyworld.com.
We may decline to create an account, suspend an existing one, or remove content at our discretion. Creating multiple accounts to evade a prior suspension or to abuse the Platform is not permitted.
You own the messages and content you send on ChariAI, and you're accountable for them. We take violations seriously — when we find them, we may remove the content, suspend or close the account, and in serious cases, refer the matter to law enforcement. The following are not allowed on ChariAI:
Available subscriptions, billing periods, local prices, taxes, and any eligible trial or introductory offer are shown by Google Play before you confirm a purchase. Availability and offers may differ by account and region.
Android in-app subscriptions are purchased through Google Play. For auto-renewing subscriptions, Google Play charges the payment method according to the terms shown at checkout until you cancel. We receive purchase and subscription information needed to verify your entitlement; we do not receive your full payment credentials. Android subscriptions do not grant membership on the CharVibe website.
Manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play subscriptions. Uninstalling the app or deleting your ChariAI Android account does not cancel the Google Play subscription. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal; access depends on the verified subscription status and expiration time.
Restore checks purchases owned by your Google Play account and their association with your ChariAI Android account. It does not transfer purchases to another ChariAI account or restore deleted account data.
Refund eligibility is governed by the applicable Google Play refund policy and applicable law. See Google Play refund guidance, or contact jack.hu@chatlyworld.com for help with your purchase. Account deletion does not itself request or issue a refund.
You must be at least 18 to purchase a subscription or use premium features, as stated in Section 2.1. This is an eligibility requirement; the app does not currently provide an age-verification or parental-purchase-approval flow. Refund requests are handled under Section 5.4.
You can request account deletion from Settings > Delete Account after reauthentication. Confirmed deletion is irreversible and has no recovery window. It closes the Android business account and starts cleanup of its personal data. Necessary payment and safety records may be retained separately. It does not delete your CharVibe Web account or the shared Firebase sign-in identity, and it does not cancel Google Play billing.
The messages and material you submit remain yours. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and process that content as needed to provide the Platform, including generating AI responses and media, maintaining conversation context, moderating content, and displaying content you choose to publish. Relevant content is processed by service providers as described in our Privacy Policy.
We review content through a combination of automated tools and human oversight. Content that breaks our rules may be removed without prior notice. Accounts that repeatedly violate our policies may be suspended or permanently closed.
The ChariAI platform — including its codebase, AI systems, character designs, interface, trademarks, and all original content — is owned by or licensed to ChariAI and protected under intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or build derivative products from any part of it without written permission from us.
If you believe that content on ChariAI infringes a copyright you hold, send a notice to jack.hu@chatlyworld.com with the subject line "Copyright Claim." Your notice should include: your name and contact information; a description of the copyrighted work; the URL or location of the allegedly infringing material; a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized; and a declaration — made under penalty of perjury — that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner. We will respond to valid notices promptly.
THE PLATFORM IS MADE AVAILABLE ON AN "AS IS" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED — INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTIBILITY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE PLATFORM WILL BE AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES, FREE OF BUGS, OR FULLY SECURE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, CHARIAI AND ITS TEAM WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. IF WE ARE FOUND LIABLE FOR SOMETHING, OUR TOTAL RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU WILL NOT EXCEED EITHER THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR SIX MONTHS OR $100 USD — WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
If ChariAI faces a legal claim, loss, or cost — including legal fees — because of something you did on the Platform or a way in which you violated these terms, you agree to cover those costs.
If you have a grievance with ChariAI, email us at jack.hu@chatlyworld.com before taking any formal action. We ask that both sides make a genuine effort to resolve the issue informally for at least 30 days before escalating.
THIS SECTION LIMITS HOW YOU CAN RESOLVE DISPUTES WITH US — PLEASE READ IT. If informal resolution fails, any remaining dispute will be settled through binding individual arbitration conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, with proceedings held in Delaware. The arbitrator's ruling will be final. This does not prevent either party from bringing a claim in small claims court when the matter qualifies.
BY USING CHARIAI, YOU AGREE THAT ANY CLAIM MUST BE BROUGHT INDIVIDUALLY. YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION AGAINST US.
If you'd prefer not to be bound by the arbitration clause, you can opt out by sending a written notice to jack.hu@chatlyworld.com within 30 days of first accepting these terms. Your message should include your name, mailing address, and a clear statement that you are opting out of arbitration.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to any conflicts of law principles. Where mandatory arbitration is not permitted by local law, your jurisdiction's laws will apply.
We may suspend or close any account at any time if we believe these terms have been violated. You can also close your account yourself through Settings, or by writing to us at jack.hu@chatlyworld.com. Once an account is closed, your access ends immediately. The provisions in Sections 6, 7, 8, and 9 continue to apply after closure.
Complete Agreement. These terms, read together with our Privacy Policy, represent the full agreement between you and ChariAI regarding the Platform. They replace any prior discussions or representations.
Severability. If a court or arbitrator finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
No Waiver. Choosing not to enforce a provision on one occasion doesn't mean we've given up the right to enforce it in the future.
Assignment. These terms cannot be transferred to someone else by you. We may transfer our rights to a successor entity as part of a merger or acquisition.
