ChariAI is operated by Innoglow ("we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains how we handle information in the ChariAI Android app, including AI conversations, character creation, video generation, voice playback, advertising, and Google Play subscriptions.
This policy covers the Android app. The CharVibe website has separate business accounts, personal content, and subscription entitlements, even when you use the same sign-in identity. For privacy or account deletion requests, contact jack.hu@chatlyworld.com.
Some features are available without signing in. Guest use still involves processing requests and technical information, and may involve advertising and analytics. Guest conversations and preferences may also be stored on the device.
AI processing can involve sensitive information if you include it in a message or upload. Please avoid sharing passwords, payment credentials, or information about other people that you are not authorized to provide.
Providing these features requires sending relevant information to external services:
Content you publish, including public characters and associated creator profile information, can be visible to other users. Publishing a character does not itself publish your private chat history. Other users may retain copies of content they have already accessed.
We may disclose information when required by law or valid legal process, or when necessary to investigate abuse and protect users and the service. External services also have their own privacy practices. See Google's Privacy Policy. Contact us if you need more information about the providers involved in a particular request.
The production Android app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand app and feature usage. Events may include screen and feature interactions, device and app information, and an app-instance identifier. When you are signed in, events can be associated with your Android business-account identifier. Signing out stops attaching that account identifier to subsequent events; it does not erase events already collected.
Analytics advertising-ID collection is disabled in the app's Firebase configuration. This does not disable the separate advertising identifiers used by AdMob. An ad-free subscription does not turn off product analytics.
Google AdMob provides ads in eligible parts of the app. Its SDK may collect or share IP addresses, device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID, ad and app interactions, and diagnostic information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Ads may be personalized depending on consent, location, and applicable settings.
The app uses Google's consent flow where applicable. When Google requires a privacy-options entry, an advertising privacy button appears in Settings and the sign-in dialog so you can revisit available choices. This button is not a general analytics opt-out. You can also manage your advertising ID in Android's privacy or advertising settings; available options depend on your device and Android version. The app uses an internet connection to communicate with our services and providers. When you select an image, the Android system picker gives the app access to the selected file for that feature. The current app does not request microphone, camera, contacts, or precise-location permissions. Voice playback generates speech from text; it does not record your voice.
The app and its SDKs use local storage and similar technologies for authentication sessions, language and other preferences, guest conversations, cached content, and app-instance information. Clearing app storage or uninstalling can remove local data, but does not delete your server-side account or cancel a Google Play subscription.
Account information, chats, memories, and saved content remain available for the relevant features until removed through supported controls or account deletion, subject to the exceptions below. Generated video files are scheduled to expire 30 days after successful generation; background cleanup removes expired files. This file-expiration period does not mean every related generation record is deleted at the same time.
Open Settings > Delete Account, reauthenticate, and complete the confirmation. Confirmed deletion is irreversible, with no recovery window. The Android account is immediately closed and background cleanup begins for its profile information, chats, memories, created characters and their files, generated videos, preferences, progress, follows, blocks, and notifications.
Cleanup is not instantaneous: active jobs must finish or stop, and failed cleanup operations are retried. We do not promise a fixed completion time. Creating a new account does not recover deleted data or transfer purchases from the deleted account.
You can request deletion without reinstalling the app by emailing jack.hu@chatlyworld.com with the subject "ChariAI account deletion". Include the email used to sign in and, if known, your Android account identifier. We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request. Sending an email does not immediately close the account. Do not send your password, verification code, or full payment details.
Deletion does not erase all records. Payment and subscription records may be retained for accounting, purchase verification, refunds and disputes. Accepted reports and their evidence, moderation actions, restrictions, and audit records may be retained for safety, abuse prevention, and applicable obligations. Limited deleted-account identifiers, identity hashes, and deletion-processing records may remain to track cleanup and prevent misuse. These retained records do not currently have a single automatic deletion deadline. Contact us to ask about a specific record or request further deletion, subject to applicable requirements and exceptions.
Android account deletion does not automatically erase previously collected analytics or other provider-held records; their retention depends on the service and applicable obligations. It also does not delete copies another person has saved.
Android and Web business accounts are separate, while Firebase sign-in identity is shared. Deleting your Android account does not delete your CharVibe Web account or shared Firebase identity. It also does not cancel or refund Google Play subscriptions. Manage or cancel subscriptions separately in Google Play.
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of personal information, correct it, request deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or opt out of targeted advertising or sharing as defined by applicable law. Advertising disclosures and available controls are described in Section 4.
Send requests, including California privacy requests, to jack.hu@chatlyworld.com. Explain the request and identify the account concerned. We may need to verify your identity or an authorized agent's authority. We will respond within applicable legal timeframes and explain any applicable limitations. You will not be discriminated against for exercising rights provided by law.
ChariAI is not intended for children under 13. Our Terms of Service describe eligibility, including parental permission for users aged 13 to 17 and the age requirement for paid features. The current registration flow does not collect a date of birth or provide an in-app parental-consent verification process.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, or you are a parent or guardian requesting help with a child's information, contact jack.hu@chatlyworld.com. We will review the request, verify the relevant relationship where necessary, and take appropriate steps to close an ineligible account and address its data.
We use HTTPS for app service communications, authentication, and access controls to protect information. No storage or transmission method can guarantee complete security. We will provide notices of security incidents when required by applicable law.
Our infrastructure and service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Privacy protections can differ between countries. Information sent to AI, cloud, authentication, analytics, or advertising providers is subject to the arrangements and applicable laws governing those services.
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app or our practices. The date above identifies the latest revision. We will provide additional notice or seek consent where required by applicable law.
